Our Story
NickProject2020 was founded in memory of Nicholas Oliver to honor his legacy of how he loved others well. He lived his life engaging with those he encountered; finding them, seeing them, making them smile. Whether they needed to just be noticed, feel encouragement and love, or get lost in laughter, Nick was going to make it happen! We hope to continue his legacy and help others pursue their passions and make a difference in their community.
OUR OUTREACH
At NickProject, we love visiting schools to spread Nick's message and challenging our students to 'find them, see them, make them smile.'
We have had the honor to hold sessions at FFA's Greenhand conference, Riverdale High's FFA leadership conference,
and speak with Smyrna High's FFA chapter supporting them in their Random Acts of Kindness campaign.
Nick served as Sentinel during his time at Riverdale. We were honored to donate a stock trailer in his name to Riverdale's FFA chapter. The artwork you see was created by the school's own art department.
By donating this beautiful trailer, so many more students in their chapter will have the opportunity to participate in competitions.
Competitions offer a diverse range of opportunities from leadership development, business ventures, networking, career exploration and sense of community.
A true sentinel, he is still reaching out to see that all are included and able to grow.
